Game Features • Comicvania – Every Metroidvania blends a variety of gameplay elements, including 2D platforming, exploration, intricate labyrinthine maps, thrilling boss battles, and the essential acquisition of new abilities that serve as keys to unlock previously inaccessible areas. We wanted to explore new ideas for the Metroidvania genre. That is why we asked ourselves. How would a comic-like Metroidvania work? This is how the idea of “comicvania” was born. • Traversals – For any Metroidvania, traversals are really important. We all love backtracking, but slow, clumsy movement can be a bit tedious. Thus, we put a lot of effort into offering you a fast-paced move-set, so you can enjoy freely moving throughout the world of Plus Ultra: Legado. • Open storytelling – In Plus Ultra: Legado, story and gameplay are not at odds, but seamlessly intertwined. Whenever someone speaks, you’re able to move, jump, and break dialogue prompts. Do you want to move to the next line? Smash that bubble! Do you want to go back to exploring the world?
